ACHIEVEMENT UNDER INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
MARCH 2022:
- Annual Assessment Camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) was carried out across 46 EBRCs in 11 Districts from March 14th to March 26th, 2022.
- Assessment is done for locomotor disabilities, hearing impairment and visual impairment in collaboration with Top Prosthetics Orthotics Rehabilitation Centre (TPORC) Imphal, Soundbeatz Pvt Ltd (Delhi) and Department of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland, respectively.
- 278 hearing aids were provided to 163 students with moderate to severe and profound hearing loss during the camps.
AUGUST 2022:
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Session at the State Level Capacity Building for District Master Trainers on ECCE and FLN, August 30th to September 1st, 2022.
SEPTEMBER 2022:
Distribution of aids and appliances from 7th to 14th September, 2022, following the Assessment Camps held in March 2022:
- 664 Locomotor aids and appliances for 203 beneficiaries, and
- 531 pairs of powered spectacles provided by the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
NOVEMBER 2022:
Awareness and Sensitization Programme on Inclusive Education, 11th and 12th November – in 3 (three) higher education institutes
