State Resource Group for Readers’ Club and Reading Corner
In accordance with Ministry of Human Resource Development’s instructions for establishing Readers’ Club and Reading Corners in each school, State Resource Group (SRG) at the State level was constituted and Readers’ Club and Reading Corners were also set up on 30th October 2019.
Orientation Training for SRG- Readers’ Club and Reading Corner conducted on 26th February 2020.
One day Orientation Training Programme for SRG-Readers’ Club and Reading Corners was conducted on 26th February 2020 with two Resource Persons (i)Dwijendra Kumar (ii) Bratin Dey from National Book Trust India, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
National Conclave on Readership and Book Promotion 2020 and World Book Fair
Officers from Samagra Shiksha participated in the conclave organized by National Book Trust, India, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on 8th January 2020 at New Delhi.
Library Books Identification Committee constituted on 14th January 2020.
Selection of books for the library is done by a Committee which examines the relevance of books for age appropriate groups. Accordingly, books have been procured from the National Book Trust India (NBTI) and distributed to the schools.
Library at Directorate of School Education Building
