One of the major interventions under Samagra Shiksha is to improve quality of education which includes provisions for Library books in all schools from Class I to XII. The vision of this component is to develop school libraries/reading corners as learning spaces that nurture lifelong readers and seekers of knowledge and promote reading ability through relevant, age appropriate and diverse books.
