PM SHRI SCHEME
PM Shri Scheme is a new centrally sponsored scheme launched by the Government of India on September 7 2022. This initiative is intended to prepare selected existing schools as PM SHRI schools which will showcase the implementation of all the aspects of the NEP 2020 and emerge as exemplar schools over a period of time.
Morung Concept of Education
The Morung concept of education was introduced to supplement/strengthen student’s academic learning and also support development of their skills through the formation of traditional institutions- traditional dormitory or Morung.
Residential Hostel
Samagra Shiksha supports the provision of residential facilities under the intervention know as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya (Residential Hostel) with the primary purpose of reaching out the urban deprived and other disadvantaged children studying in Government schools.
Vocational Education
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to transform India’s educational landscape by integrating vocational education into the mainstream curriculum and removing traditional boundaries between vocational and academic streams.
Smart Classroom Programme
Smart Classroom Program is implemented in 320 GMS and 287 GHS/GHSS across the State till date. The program is implemented in phase manner, depending on the students’ enrolment of the school.
