Construction of New School Building and Strengthening of Existing School Building:
At Secondary level, construction of 14 new schools and strengthening of 13 existing schools were completed as approved by PAB.
Teachers Quarter (Secondary)
Construction of 32 units of Residential Quarter for teachers was started with active participation of the SMDC members and community. Till date 3 units of the Residential Quarters have been completed and the remaining is targeted to be completed by the end of December 2020.
To expediate the construction works, the State has opted for the prefab technology for construction of Teachers Quarters. A two units of work have already been completed. In view of the progress, construction of the remaining Residential Quarter for Teachers with the same prefab technology will be taken up since it is cost effective and less time consuming.
