Smart Classroom Programme

Smart Classroom Program under ICT & Digital Initiatives: 

            Smart Classroom Program is implemented in 320 GMS and 287 GHS/GHSS across the State till date. The program is implemented in phase manner, depending on the students’ enrolment of the school. Each implementing school is having 2 (two) Smart Classrooms and are provided with 2 (two) 50-inch Smart TV and 2 (two) 1 KVA UPS alongwith pre-loaded e-content pen-dives.

The E-contents of each lesson, class-wise has been developed according to the SCERT / NBSE curriculum which were minutely checked and verified by the subject experts of SCERT & NBSE before final approval. The E-content modules are incorporated with 2D, 3D animations, videos and illustrations to make lessons easier, engaging and more interactive and are embedded in the pendrives to be transacted through SMART TVs. The lessons can be updated according to changes in the curriculum.

The program hopes to improve the quality of education through multimedia based educational e-content especially on the subjects Mathematics & Science.
