ACCESS AND RETENTION

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya (Residential Hostel):

         Samagra Shiksha supports the provision of residential facilities under the intervention know as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya (Residential Hostel) with the primary purpose of reaching out the  urban deprived and other disadvantaged children studying in Government schools. The objective is to create equitable access to school education in remote, sparsely populated and difficult to reach areas, hilly terrains, large uninhabited areas with natural barriers.

         Thirteen (13) Residential Hostels in the eleven district of Nagaland with an intake capacity of 50 students each is implemented with funding under Samagra Shiksha.
