Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya (Residential Hostel)

Samagra Shiksha supports the provision of residential facilities under the intervention known as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya (Residential Hostel) with the primary purpose of reaching out the urban deprived and other disadvantaged children studying in Government Schools. The objective is to ensure universal enrolment and provide schooling facilities in areas which is sparsely populated (mostly rural areas) where opening of schools may not be viable and children in urban areas who are in need of care and protection. There are thirteen (13) Residential Hostels in eleven (11) districts with an intake capacity of fifty (50) students in each centres.
